ஆ. மாதவனின் ‘புனலும் மணலும்’ நாவல்
வாசிப்பனுபவம்
…பங்கி என்ற தன் மனைவி தங்கம்மையின் முதல் கணவருக்கு பிறந்தவள் மீது அங்குசாமியின் வெறுப்புதான் இந்த நாவலின் மையம். அங்குசாமி, பங்கி, தாமோதரன் இவர்களின் கதையை சொல்லி செல்கிறது ஆனால் வெறும் அக உலகமாக மட்டுமே பேசாமல் ஆற்று மணல் வியாபாரத்தையும் நுட்பமாக பேசுகிறது.
..வட்டார வழக்கில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கும் நாவல் நாம் அதற்காகவே இன்னொரு முறை வாசிக்கவைக்கும் மொழி இன்பத்தை கொடுக்கிறது.
